BIFIS Registration is available to:

- Sole traders; and 
- Limited Companies

Operating in the following settings:

- Domestic refurbishment
- Construction
- Commercial

Installing or surveyors of the following products:

- Kitchens
- Bedrooms
- Bathrooms
- Home offices
- Flooring
- Worksurfaces
Independent Registration:

For tradespeople and companies who join themselves. These businesses appear on the public register, to include their contact information if they wish.

Sponsored Registration:

When registration is funded by a BIFIS Retail Partner. These businesses appear on the public register, but not their contact inforation.

Businesses that hold sponsored registration may apply for independent registration to run concurrenly.

Registration to an industry institute is exclusively available to industry professionals:

- Professional industry status
- Specialist business support & guidance
- Access to extensive commercial discounts

Registration is only available to industry professionals.

Whether sole trader or Limited business, fees are paid monthly:

£20+VAT, per month, including one installer.

£10+VAT, per month for each installer registered thereafter.

Apprentice & Student Registration is FREE.

Whilst subscription fees are paid monthly (to help spread the cost), BIFIS registration is an annual commitment.

Retailers

For specialist retailers of fitted interiors products.
BIFIS Partnership is available to:

- Local independent retailers
- National brands
- Online retailers
- Franchises & franchisees
- Main contractors selling and supply & fit

Regardless of their relationship with those installers that deliver the installation service:

- Employed
- Sub-contracted
- Recommended
- Listed
- Mix of any of the above

Available to Partners that:

- Sell / transact an installation service to customers
- Recommend installers to their customers
- Signpost customers to a pool of installers 

Our Partners benefit in a number of ways:

- Turnkey compliance management of installers
- Installer recruitment, retention and reward
- Specialist guidance on installation service
- Commercial selling aid to support installation sales

BIFIS Retail Partnership is straightforward:

- All installers must become BIFIS Registered
- A formal partnership agreement

Fees depend on how your installers registration is paid for:

Independent Registration:

Is when Partners direct installers to pay for BIFIS Registration themselves. In this instance, Partnership is FREE. 

Sponsored Registration:

Is when Partners pays for (sponsor) their installers BIFIS Registration. Partners pay £20+VAT, per month, for each installation business they work with, plus £10+VAT, per month for each installer registered within that business.

Hybrid Registration:

Partners may choose a combination of both independent and sponsored registration for their installers.

BIFIS Corporate Advocacy is a great way for suppliers, distributors and manufacturers to support BIFIS objectives.
