The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) is pleased to announce Harrison James as the latest fitted interiors retailer to become a BiKBBI Retail Installation Standards Partner, working closely with BiKBBI to deliver a robust proposition for its customers.
Harrison James (Shropshire), an award-winning design, supply and install business, was launched by entrepreneur Olivia Weaver in 2023. Olivia entered the home improvement industry as an apprentice straight from school and is one of only a few female kitchen and bathroom installers operating in the UK, teaming up with husband Harry, an experienced installer, to start the business. Harrison James formed a relationship with BiKBBI primarily as a registered installation business after its launch, with Olivia supporting the institute’s work to educate and attract more women into the KBB industry. Harrison James has grown and diversified significantly in just two years, opening its first showroom in Shifnal, Shropshire earlier this year.
Speaking on behalf of Harrison James, Olivia Weaver commented: “Our registration with BiKBBI has always been a USP for the business, setting us apart from competitors and demonstrating our commitment to offer the highest standards and quality to our customers. Introducing a retail proposition to the business presented an opportunity to further align Harrison James to BiKBBI, enhancing our offer and giving our customers complete confidence in creating their dream kitchen, bedroom or bathroom with us.”
Damian Walters, BiKBBI CEO said: “Becoming a BiKBBI Retail Installation Standards Partner has many benefits; for the retailer, the associated installers and the consumer, ultimately reducing complexity of compliance and risk for all. We are delighted to see Harrison James go from strength to strength and we look forward to supporting the business as they continue on their journey of success.”
The British Institute of KBB Installation works with local, regional and national retailers of KBB product and invites any business wanting to know more about becoming a Retail Installations Standards Partner, to contact Chris Gliddon at chris.gliddon@bikbbi.org.uk.
