BiKBBI confirms a whole host of new new features its members can expect when the change to BIFIS is complete in October.
Protecting the industry's reputation, the integrity of professional installation specialists and the best interests of consumers has always been at the heart of what The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) does. That's why, when BiKBBI evolves into BIFIS in October, all registered businesses will be issued with a new state of the art photocard:
✅ Linked to DBS (criminal record) checked registration holder
✅ Biometric security features embedded
✅ Competency listed by trade:
- Kitchen installer (RMI or contract)
- Bathroom installer (RMI or contract)
- Bedroom installer (RMI or contract)
- Remedial installer (RMI or contract)
- Appliance engineer
- Worksurface fabricator / installer
- Surveyor
✅ All BIFIS photocards equipped with NFC*
✅ Card linked to live online database to check cardholder credentials
* NFC allows the cardholder to tap onto a customers smartphone. This will share credentials and link the client to online information about why they should choose BIFIS registered businesses... helping the cardholder to demonstrate credibility and ultimately win more business.
All current members will be invited to upload new photographs today, ahead of the switch to BIFIS in October.
