The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) is pleased to announce the formation of a strategic partnership with the Worktop Fabricators Federation (WFF), a non-profit organisation representing businesses using industrial fabrication methods to manufacture large format slabs for surfaces, made from natural stone and similar man-made materials.
Launched in 2020, the Federation's objectives and goals are to promote professionalism across the surfaces and stone masonry industries, including the promotion of good working practices and policies for health & safety in the workplace, as well as being a unified representative voice for fabricators on matters of industry-wide importance.
As part of the newly formed relationship, BiKBBI will work closely with WFF to provide education, improve standards, nurture collaboration and provide guidance to KBB installers.
Damian Walters, BiKBBI CEO commented ‘KBB installation is a multi-skilled trade with many areas of specialism. The work that BiKBBI does to support installation businesses and drive positive change is reliant on strong relationships with organisations representing all areas of the sector. Surfaces and stone masonry are a significant element of kitchen and bathroom installation, and we are in no doubt that the newly formed relationship with the WFF will deliver significant benefits for both BiKBBI registered installers, the wider installation sector and the worktop fabrication industry.’
