The British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Installation (BiKBBI) is pleased to announce a new partnership with UKATA, a leading authority in asbestos training. This partnership solidifies the collaboration between the two organisations, with a shared aim of enhancing asbestos-related education and training opportunities within the KBB installation sector.

The partnership highlights the shared commitment of both organisations to collaboratively promote asbestos awareness and enhance safety protocols within the industry. By leveraging their combined expertise, resources, and industry insights, UKATA and BiKBBI aim to reinforce efforts in preventing asbestos-related illnesses while upholding the highest standards in asbestos management.

UKATA's Operations Manager, Sasha Brailsford, shared her enthusiasm about the new partnership, stating, "It's a pleasure to officially join forces with the KBB Installation Sector, and I look forward to supporting our collective mission to raise awareness around asbestos hazards."

Damian Walters, BiKBBI CEO commented “As the only organisation representing the KBB installation community, our strategic partnerships are key to our work on improving education, standards and compliance in the sector. Asbestos awareness is vital to the health and safety of those working in the home improvement industry and is an entry requirement of BiKBBI registration. We are pleased to formalise our partnership with UKATA as we continue to promote safe working practices for our registered businesses and the wider industry.”

Both UKATA and BiKBBI share a common commitment to asbestos awareness, training, and safety.
