Accredited Installation Methods (AiM) is the UK's only installation certification scheme, operated by a government sanctioned fitted interiors institute, designed to elevate industry standards whilst supporting individual businesses to develop and deliver a robust installed proposition.

AiM is available to retailers of all sizes and manufacturers that install via an employed or sub-contracted workforce, in the domestic refurbishment, construction and commercial sectors. AiM focuses on both the operational methodology of delivering an installation service and the product of onsite fitting standards.

WHO: Available to fitted interiors retailers (& manfacturers) of all sizes, from independent showrooms to national retail brands, and any business that installs the product it supplies, in the domestic, construction and commercial setting.

WHAT: Assessment formally recognises and supports the development of installation methodology including onsite standards - i.e. how businesses manage the process of installation from start to finish, on and off site, including compliance, contractor relationships, welfare, health & safety, installation delivery, consumer proposition, contracts and terms and service levels.

The Process

Step 1
Book a call
A member of our team will take you through the process from preparing for the AiM audit, the audit process and achieving accreditation.
Step 2
Apply
Following the discovery call, you will be sent a link to the AiM online application form which you will need to complete and submit.
Step 3
Auditor assignment
On receipt of your completed application form, we will review your specific needs and assign your AiM auditor.
Step 4
Audit timeline confirmed
You will receive a schedule of dates including desktop audit, on site audit, feedback and recommendation.
Step 5
Accreditation
Upon successful completion of the audit, AiM accreditation will be awarded.
